Day 1 – Treviso

Arrival at Venice (or Treviso) airport and transfer to your accommodation. Veneto region is the heartland of Italian Rugby with Treviso as one of the main centers. After check-in, explore your surroundings on your own. Overnight.

Day 2 – Treviso/Venice/Treviso

After breakfast, transfer to Venice and enjoy some time at leisure in this famous and romantic tourist destination. In the afternoon return to Treviso and play your first game against a local opposition team. Join with the hosts for post-match refreshments before returning to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 3 – Treviso/Modena/Florence

Early departure to Modena. Here you will visit the Ferrari Museum, a permanent exhibition dedicated to Formula 1, World Championship and much more. Late afternoon arrival in Florence for check-in. Evening at leisure and overnight.

Day 4 – Florence

After breakfast enjoy a morning and explore the Cradle of the Renaissance on your own. A visit to the David by Michelangelo can be arranged on an optional basis. Afternoon play your second fixture against a local team and enjoy a hospitality reception with your hosts. Transfer back to the hotel overnight.

Day 5 – Rome

Breakfast and check-out. Departure to Rome. Enroute stop in Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli. Late afternoon arrival in Rome and check-in. Evening at your leisure and an overnight stay.

Day 6 – Rome

This morning you will go on a panoramic city tour of Rome including the Colosseum which could hold over 50.000 spectators. In the afternoon transfer to a local rugby club for your third and last game in Italy. Share a post-game function with your local hosts before making your way back to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 7 – Rome

Breakfast and check-out. Take advantage of the remaining time to do some last minute sightseeing on your own or shopping. Transfer to Rome airport to home. End of the tour.

Soccer Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Rome

Arrive in Rome and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you will be introduced to the history of Rome through a guided tour of Imperial Rome including the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Welcome dinner at a local “Pizzeria” restaurant and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Rome

This morning you will explore Rome on your own and enjoy some time at leisure. In the afternoon you will play your first game against a local opposition team and socialize with your hosts. Return to the hotel overnight.

Day 3 – Rome/Pisa/Montecatini Terme

After breakfast you will check-out and leave for Montecatini Terme. Enroute to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli. After check-in you will spend the rest of the day at your leisure in Montecatini. Overnight stay.

Day 4 – Montecatini Terme

Today we will visit the Cradle of Renaissance with a guided tour including the major highlights of the city. In the afternoon you will return to Montecatini and play your second match. Enjoy some hospitality with your host and make your way back to the hotel overnight.

Day 5 – Montecatini Terme/Modena/Milan

Breakfast, check-out and departure to Milan with a stop in Modena. Here you will visit the Ferrari Museum, a permanent exhibition dedicated to Formula 1, World Championship and much more. Rest of the day at leisure in Milan and overnight.

Day 6 – Milan

After an orientation tour of Milan, you will get a guided tour of the San Siro Soccer Stadium and Museum, the legendary structure home to the glorious clubs AC Milan and FC Inter. Later you will play your third and last game in Italy. Socialize with your hosts before making your way back to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7 – Milan

Breakfast and check-out. Take advantage of the remaining time to do some last minute sightseeing on your own or shopping. Transfer to Milan Airport and fly home. End of tour.

Music Band and Choir Itinerary

Day 1 – Rome

Arrival at Rome airport. Enjoy an orientation tour to get a first impression of the Eternal city including most of the major sights, Churches, impressive buildings and beautiful Piazzas.

Day 2 – Rome

This morning you will discover the heart of Imperial Rome with a visit to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. In the afternoon enjoy a guided walk in the old town and see the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona.

Day 3 – Rome

After breakfast you have a full morning at your disposal to enjoy Rome on your own. In the afternoon rehearsal is scheduled before your first Italian performance which will take place at Santa Maria sopra Minerva Church. Return to the hotel overnight.

Day 4 – Rome/Florence

Departure to Florence. Afternoon guided walking tour of Florence and explore all the beauties of the Cradle of the Renaissance, such as the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and much more.

Day 5 – Florence/Pisa/Lucca/Montecatini/Florence

After breakfast, depart to Pisa and see the famous Leaning Tower. Continue to nearby Lucca, birthplace of the composer Giacomo Puccini. Then move to Montecatini Terme. After a planned rehearsal your second performance will take place at the Torretta Spa Gardens. Back to Florence for an overnight stay.

Day 6 – Florence/Cremona/Verona

This morning we will leave for Cremona, especially noted for its musical history and traditions, including some of the earliest and most renowned luthiers, such as Antonio Stradivari. Visit the world’s most prestigious collection of Stradivarius Violins and continue to Verona.

Day 7 – Verona/Venice

This morning we will go to Verona. It is one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, owing to its artistic heritage. There are several annual shows and operas during the lyrical season in the Arena, this ancient amphitheater was built by the Romans in 30 AD. Enjoy some free time in the famous lovers Romeo and Juliet’s town and continue to Venice.

Day 8 – Venice

This morning we will take a guided tour of the Doge’s city and see the beautiful San Mark’s Basilica, Rialto Bridge, and the Doge’s Palace. Venice is also home to Carlo Goldoni who wrote some of Italy’s most famous and best-loved plays. In the afternoon rehearsal and performance of your last Italian concert at San Francesco della Vigna church, next to San Mark square.

Day 9 – Venice

Departure transfer to Venice airport for your home flight.

Pathways of Faith Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Rome

Arrival at Rome airport, meet your local Tour Manager and board your coach to the Colosseum, not only an iconic symbol of Imperial ages but also widely regarded as a Christian site. Next, we will visit the Church of St. Peter’s in Chains, which houses the relics of the chains that bound Saint Peter. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Then a welcome dinner in a typical Roman restaurant.

Day 2 – Rome

Meet a local guide and depart to the Vatican City to visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. We will then see the Basilica of St. Peter’s, by tradition the burial site of the first Pope and Bishop of Rome. In the afternoon we will visit the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls and complete our tour with a visit to the Christian Catacombs in a beautiful setting off the famous cobblestone of Via Appia Antica.

Day 3 – Rome

Early transfer to St. Peter’s square to attend the General Audience with Pope Francis. In the afternoon visit St. John Lateran’s Basilica, Cathedral of Rome, and the nearby Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs). Our tour will end with the Church of St. Mary Major, the largest Catholic Marian church in Rome.

Day 4 – Rome/S. Giovanni Rotondo

Today we leave for a long distance transfer to San Giovanni Rotondo. On our way, we will visit the Benedictine Abbey of Montecassino. Before reaching our destination, we will also stop in Pietrelcina, birthplace of St. Pio. Dinner will be at the reserved hotel.

Day 5 – S. Giovanni Rotondo

This morning we will visit the new Church of Saint Pio and its crypt with the tomb of the Saint. Later on we will make our way to the Sanctuary of Monte Sant’Angelo, the oldest shrine in Western Europe dedicated to the archangel Michael.

Day 6 – S. Giovanni R./Lanciano/Loreto/Assisi

Driving along the Adriatic coastline, we will arrive at Lanciano and visit the great Eucharistic shrine. We will then continue on to Loreto and visit the House of the Holy Family, miraculously transferred here from Nazareth, as tradition says. Early evening arrival in Assisi, known as the town of peace.

Day 7 – Assisi

Meet your local guide at your hotel and start a guided tour which includes St. Francis Basilica, considered one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Italy, the Church of St. Clare and the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels with the little Porziuncola church, where the young Francis started the Franciscan order.

Day 8 – Assisi/Padua

Buffet breakfast and check-out. Departure to Padua, a beautiful old university town with an illustrious past. Here we will visit the Basilica of St. Anthony, which welcomes millions of believers and pilgrims every year.

Day 9 – Padua/Venice/Padua

Today we will enjoy a day trip to nearby Venice with a guided tour of the Byzantine Basilica of St. Mark. We will continue with the monumental Rialto Bridge, the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Afternoon at leisure and return to Padua.

Day 10 – Padua/Milan

Departure to Milan where we will meet our local guide with a visit to the Duomo, which is considered to be one of the world’s largest churches and best example of Northern Gothic architecture in Italy. The tour will be completed with visits to the Sforza Castle and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Farewell dinner included.

Day 11 – Milan

Bus transfer to Milan Airport for your flight home. Tour ends.
